Chillwave Wednesday CXLII

Chillwave Wednesday 2017

Welcome back to Chillwave Wednesday. This is the one hundred and forty second installment of “chill” and so I’ve decided to create a slightly different playlist. It starts off with the normal amounts of chillwave with new tracks from Brazilian-based producer, Bruno Martini and American electronic duo Oliver. By the fourth track, it starts to get a bit wavy with Liohn’s track “Bone App The Teeth.” It’s all a bit different but why not mix it up sometimes?

Chillwave Wednesday is a semi-weekly shortlist of chill music from around the internet.

Chillwave Wednesday is also available on Spotify.

Glassio — Papaya
Glassio is Sam Rad and Charles Pinel. Pinel was raised in Paris while Rad was born in the Middle East. They found themselves paired together for a project while studying at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute. Soon after, they released their debut EP, Poptimism, which was heralded as an “encyclopedia of Pop” by Village Voice.

Bruno Martini — Sun Goes Down (feat. Isadora)
Bruno Martini is the Brazilian electronic artist behind “Sun Goes Down.” He’s teamed up with Isadora to produce this sun-drenched track to keep the summer vibes alive.

Oliver – Chemicals (feat. MNDR)
The electronic duo that call themselves “Oliver” have been delivering the goods this summer. They’ve performed everywhere from Coachella to Hard Summer and their music has been used all over TV from Fifa to Broad City. With their debut album Full Circle on the horizon, Oliver have just released another single called “Chemicals.”

All of These Headlines Are Not Exactly The Same

In the real world, you don't know how long the content will be. Writers will write what they need. Photos will be cropped to the shape that they should be. That's good. Make a system that allows this. You want it to be flexible and robust.
