I may have struck musical gold. Ibeyi are a duo of supremely talented twin sisters coming from Cuba. Their debut album will grace our ears shortly with a release date set for mid-February. Their hauntingly beautiful vocals pair perfectly with a particular intensity in the drums. “Better In Tune With The Infinite” is originally by Jay Electronica. These girls have transformed it by singing the rap verses and adding their own magical flavour. This song is melodically and lyrically fascinating, I just can’t stop listening to it.

It’s frustratin’ when you just can’t express yourself
And it’s hard to trust enough to undress yourself
To stand exposed and naked, in a world full of hatred
Where the sick thoughts of mankind control all the sacred
I pause, take a step back, record all the setbacks
Fast forward towards the stars in the jetpack
